Investing isn’t child’s play. No matter what TikTok ‘FinFluencers’ say. Gamified investing apps such as Robinhood even resulted in a teen’s suicide. Today’s youth remains desperate to invest, with no idea how.
Most either follow the trend and pay a dear price. Others simply stay out and lose to inflation and inaction. So Eyeball set out to build a new, educational social media platform that digitizes the financial college.
The big idea? Combine Stanford’s education, Bloomberg’s up to the minute data, and TikTok’s immersive, algorithmic video—with one caveat: Vetted creators with an existing corpus of substantiated financial content.
In the end, the brand emerged as an antidote to mass social media. Eyeball inspires users to make good use of their time. No matter where they start, they leave feeling ready to make sound investing decisions.
